Search: Player data only

I want to edit my old PS2 Pro Evolution Soccer, manually.
And I just want to edit the players' data, so no kits, no stadiums, just names and ability data.
Is there a text file or at least a small download package that I can find online to save hours of collecting data?

And can I open the data in a simple text editor or do I need a special program to see the players' profiles?

thanks for your reply. I think I found what I was looking for. The two databases that carry player stats:

http://www.pesstats.com/

I can then simply copy what I need.
If anyone knows of a way to download all stats in one, please feel free to let me know.

PSD's database may be huge, but it's stats are not useful for PES.
PES-Stats offers only KONAMI's stats of various years.

that's right of course cause PSD is made by fans of the teams most of the team so gives a real wrong view of their real quality...

PS tried it out once you get very high stats for example Eredivisie. iN that way you get a middle of 75 or higher at PSV
