Add rld.dll to your exception list in your antivirus. Make sure to deactivate your antivirus before installing or it might delete/quarantine your file before you get the chance add it to the exception list.

When I try to launch game through PESEDIT icon, it says: Securom: Failed to initialize!

At first I got rdl.dll error, but now I put the file in the game directory, and when I try to open the game it doesn't let me open it and it says: Securom: Failed to initialize!

Help!

Are you sure that you deactivated the antivirus before installing? I had the same issue that you are having and that was what fixed it for me.
In my case since I didn't do that, ESET would block the file instantly and when I put it on the exception list it did nothing.

That shows up when I try to launch the game!

I installed the patch in "Safe Mode" so I think antivirus was deactivated

Try closing the antivirus completely via Task Manager.

Yes, you have to deactivate McAfee BEFORE installing the patch.
Also I would strongly recommend to switch to another antivirus.

Dude, google it. I'm not going to look up how to work your antivirus and then come back to show you. If I knew how to or if you were using the same antivirus as I am I would help you, but be a little more proactive please.

And no it won't harm your computer as long as you are not going through any sketchy sites. I would recommend disconnecting from the internet while you do this.
