[PS3] New to editing, some questions/troubles

Hi,

Been searching and downloading all kinds the last couple of days trying to find where to edit and what to edit more importantly. I'm hoping a more experienced and kind person can give me some straightforward answers. What I'm trying to do is to:

Update all team lineups and player stats
Create custom default formation/strategies for each team

I think essentially it's an option file without the hassle of the in game editor. I know the latest Konami update (data pack 7) says that lineups have been updated and apparently this is contained within dt0f.img but I have no idea where. I can open that file and view some of the kits and graphics but I'm unsure if I need to unzlib something?? I already have an OF installed and want to tweak it rather than downloading the latest data pack (or alternatively, open it and update it in lieu of a new release).

So, can anyone just advise me on what I need to do? Do I need to edit the data.bin? df0f.img etc? And the best utlity to do so? I have GGS, PESUE, AFSExplorer etc.

Thanks. I guess if I wanted to do this then I would have to do all editing within the game then copy the data from the PS3 game data utility and pack it up?
