I think most powerful leagues are Brazilian and Russian but I would choose Russian.

definetly Portuguese, Turkish and even Scotish are more powerful and more exciting to watch rather then russian league
don't get me wrong, zenit and cska are both great clubs but thats it, nothing more..russian league can be compared to turkish one, they spend a lot of money signing famous players (Bruno Alves for Zenit, or Roberto Carlos in Fenerbahce) but they cant produce great results outside they're country, in Europa League or Champions League.
Portugal on the other hand is the 6th most powerful league right now, in Europe, but one of the poorest leagues in Europe as well. Despite that, we have world class players such as Hulk or Saviola, and great international coaches such as André Vilas Boas, for instance. And FC Porto won the former UEFA league in 2003, and the CL in 2004, Sporting CP hosted (and played) the UEFA cup final in 2005, Benfica went to the last-8 in 2006 (only to lose agaisnt barcelona, the crown champion that year). FCPorto is, pairing with Man Utd, the club with more consecutive presences in CL (this year is the first time, since 1991 or so, that Porto misses CL). And, since the beginning of the new century, Porto only missed the last-16 round in CL one time, back in 2005

Foy your information only, brasilian league is 6th in the world by FIFA ranking (after 5 strongest european leagues). :)

Read again what you wrote... Who won Europa League (UEFA Cup) in 2008. and 2005.? Maybe Zenith and CSKA? Yes, they did. And about comparison of turkish and russian league. It's unnecesary to compare those two leagues. Turkish clubs don't have any significant result in last 10 years. Galatasaray spends a lot of money every year but they were beaten by anonymous ukrainian club Karpaty in Europa League qualification!! Did it happen to Zenith or CSKA? One more thing: Why Bruno Alves, one great player who was wanted to buy by half of Europe, didn't go to some famous english or spanish club? Or why didn't he stay in "strong" portuguese league? Yes, money makes world go round. But also football today means money. And that's what russian league has. ;) And you cannot compare Bruno Alves and Roberto Carlos who is 36 (!) and has to be already retired. Btw, scottish league has two "normal" clubs which were famous decades ago and are now quite poor (especially Celtic).
It's true that portuguese league produces many great players (more than russian but much less than brasilian) but they immediately go to stronger leagues.
I appreciate you opinion but these facts I set out here give advantage to russian and brasilian leagues.
Honestly, it's all the same for me which league will yomisitie make for update. I would rather want to see 20 clubs from all round the world (Costa Rica, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Korea, China, Australia, Tunis, Morocco, Congo, South Africa,...). But anything he wants to make will be great!

the libertadores cup was won 22 times by argentinian teams and 14 by brazilians

Thats correct. And is the source of a lot of TOP players that actually plays on European Clubs.
